A little bit about me....

More Andrew Entrepreneur, philanthropist, homeboy, these are just some of the big words I can spell. During the week I am a humble Tasmanian Optometrist, practicing in the bustling metropolis of Hobart. You can check out some of the usual suspects where I work.

The rest of the time I am the coach of the Aussie Rules Goal Umpires in Tasmania. Have you seen the blokes in the lab coats who point at each other, and wave flags ? Yeah, well, I coach them ! The Men In White in Tasmania did have an unofficial website here, but now we have an official one here. The Victorian guys have a great website here.

Homebrewing is my hobby, with my peak achievement being an alcoholic lemonade which, as a drink, makes a great radiator coolant.... I also make an awesome beer which I call Hoges Premium - of course!.

I live in beautiful Margate, in the south of Tasmania, with my wife Sarah, and our cats Tommy and Zoe. And Sarah's lovely little girl, Jessica. Unfortunately Tom the Fish is no longer alive (okay, I do have a problem with pet names...). Other animal friends include Sharnie the blue heeler, William and Ricky the horses, and Oscar the sheep. I use Opera Web Browser, I read Woody's Office Watch, I cook 2 Minute Noodles in thirty seconds, I photosynthesise beer. I have a website and I did it with Notepad (with a bit of help from Frontpage...) My hair was once blue. Do Re Me So Far So Good !
