I have been appointed Clan Officer Australia and represent our Clan Chief in
Australia. Please return your membership application form and cheque to me
at Gosford, NSW and I will forward them on to our Clan Chief in Scotland.

A Clan Membership Certificate with appropriate seal and a Clan Booklet will be
posted to you from Scotland. A copy of recent newsletters will follow separately.
Other information from Scotland will include details of the Travel Club, Mail
Order, and Genealogy - all very interesting.

Clan members may contribute toward the cost of maintaining Hunterston Castle
in Scotland, by making a separate donation. This donation will be entered into
the Clan Hunter Donation Fund book kept at Hunterston Castle. The purpose of
the Donation Fund is to help maintain the castle as the headquarters of the Clan,
and to provide activities for the benefit of members. Our Clan Chief has charged
the Clan with preserving the history and heritage of the Hunter family worldwide.
Membership of the Clan Association enables you to enjoy a range of facilities
and to receive information on your heritage.

The Clan Hunter Association formed in 1970 to bring together branches of
the Hunter family settled throughout the world. The Association aims to satisfy
a growing interest in the origins of the Hunter family and to provide a medium
for social contact. The Clan is privileged to have the original family castle, built
at Hunterston, Scotland. The Hunterston Estate has been in the possession of
the Hunter family since the year 1110.
