General Caps

New from Earl's Performance are Newton Equipment aviation-style fuel filler caps. A range which is the last word in quality and function. Machined from Aluminium with stainless steel closures, most with an optional security lock, there is a complete range to cover virtually all possible applications.

None of the caps are designed to fit any particular vehicle model. Each has a flat flange with mounting holes surrounding the quarter-turn "lift and twist" cap. Even the smallest has an opening large enough to take a Super Petrol pump nozzle.

  • MINI CAP A26S. 80 mm overall diameter, 2 1/2" (63.5mm) PCD, 6 mounting holes, Supplied complete with fixing ring & screws. No neck available. Suited to Motorcycles and other direct-to-tank applications.

    A36N Midi Cap with Neck Click For Enlargement

  • MIDI CAP A36. 95 mm overall diameter, 3" (76.2mm) PCD, 6 mounting holes. Available with or without a lock (2 keys supplied), with or without integral neck to accept 2" (50.8mm) or 2 1/4" (57mm) hoses. Suited to exterior panel or direct-to-tank mounting. Optional extras include Fixing Ring, with screws, Screw & Nut pack, 45 and 90 degree bend 2" (50.8mm) hoses (approx 6-8" long - 150-200mm).

  • MAXI CAP A48. 120mm overall diameter, 4" (101.6mm) PCD, 8 mounting holes. Available with or without a lock (2 keys supplied), with or without integral neck to accept 2" (50.8mm) hoses. Suited to exterior panel or direct-to-tank mounting. Optional extras include Fixing Ring, with screws, Screw & Nut pack, 2" (50.8mm) and 2 1/4" (57mm) separate funnel-shaped necks to mount behind the panel sharing the same fixing screws as the cap, 45 and 90 degree bend 2" (50.8mm) hoses. Suits exterior panel or direct-to-tank mounting.

    A412 Super Maxi Cap Click For Enlargement

  • SUPER MAXI A412. 140mm overall diameter, 4 3/4" (120.7mm) PCD, 12 mounting holes. Available with or without a lock. A common aviation size cap suited only to direct-to-tank mounting.
NOTE: As any of these caps may be used on aircraft, none are vented. A special Tank Vent Valve TVV67 is available.

Another useful Newton product is roll-over valve TRV86, a vent valve which automatically closes in case of the vehicle going upside-down.
