Since 1995,Kevin has been touring and performing in duo with Don Burrows. These tours involve teaching and performing with school and university students.

Kevin has recorded and performed with most of Sydney's prominent Jazz artists, over the last 16 years.

Kevin travelled to Vienna in 1994, to study with Joseph Zawinul, one of the greatest Jazz musicians in the world.

The trio 'Tree' was formed in 1996,and in this group Kevin explores his use of synthezisers in blending electronics with the acoustic piano."Tree" performs compositions especially written by the group,for the group.

From 1993 to 1995,Kevin studied composition at the NSW Conservatorium of Music. In 1994,Kevin performed his piece 'New Calls' in a contemporary music concert. This piece is entirely Australian bird calls,that eventually become New Calls.

Kevin's CD,'Kevin Hunt Plays J S Bach', is a best seller for ABC Music.The CD recording was awarded Best Jazz Release '98 by the '24 Hours Magazine Listeners Choice Awards'. The Cd also received an Aria nomination.
